С лесом связано много сказок и фантазий из детства, когда мы воображали себе мир таинственных животных и существ. Лес притягивает и пугает. Он – мечта и ужас. В самый ясный день ты входишь в лес, как в храм звуков и запахов. Ступни утопают в чуть влажных мхах, будто ты идешь по бесконечному арабскому ковру. Стоит зайти солнцу, лес превращается в черную стену, которая манит, и за которой прячутся все твои страхи. И ты даже не знаешь, чего именно ты боишься. Зверя? Или человека?
Художники заходят в лес. Они находятся в одном из самых странных мест – на острове Ольхон, который омывается энергетическими водами Байкала. Работают над серией фотографий и скульптур, потом выставляют их в этом же лесу. Не стремятся унести произведения искусства в галерею, а наоборот – вносят их в природное пространство, которое полноценно без них.
Все фотографии напоминают рентгеновские снимки, образующие рекурсию. Лес на фоне леса. В кадр входит человек, на каких-то картинах дополняя его, а где-то – разрушая. Рентген дерева выглядит как легкое дрожание на глади озера. Художники воскрешают мертвые пни и коряги, создавая из них скульптуры, обернутые пластиковой тканью с изображением природных фактур.
Тихо. Ты стоишь среди могущественного создания природы, в которое внедрились полимерные произведения современного искусства. Каждое, как дверь в другой мир, который не виден глазу – из твоего детства, со всеми страхами и вспышками радости.

There are many fairy tales and fantasies from childhood associated with forest, when we imagined the world of mysterious animals and creatures. The forest attracts and frightens. It is a dream and a horror. On a sunny day, you enter the forest like a temple of sounds and smells. The feet are buried in slightly damp mosses, as if you are walking along an endless Arab carpet. When the sun goes down, the forest turns into a black wall that is so tempting and where all your fears are hidden. And you don’t even know what exactly you're afraid of. A beast? Or a human?
The artists go deep into the forest. They are in one of the strangest places - on the island of Olkhon, which is washed by the holy waters of Lake Baikal. The artists work on a series of photographs and sculptures and then expose them in the same forest. They do not seek to bring artworks into the gallery, on the contrary - they bring them into the natural space, which is already complete without them.
All photos resemble X-ray images forming recursion. Forest is in the background of the forest. The frame includes a human, in some pictures complementing it, and in some – destroying it. The X-ray of the tree looks like a slight tremor on the surface of the lake. The artists raise dead stumps and driftwood, creating from them sculptures wrapped in plastic cloth with a picture of natural textures.
It’s so quiet. You’re in the midst of the powerful creation of nature, where the polymeric works of modern art were integrated. Each work is like a door to the invisible world from your childhood, with all the fears and flashes of joy.
